On Thursday, February 09, 2023, the kickoff meeting for the project CoLDa (Collaborative Machine Learning for Data Value Creation) took place. CoLDa is a research collaboration between DLR (German Aerospace Center) and the VLBA (Very Large Business Applications) department of Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. The goal of the three-year project is the practical research and further development of Federated Machine Learning in the application area of data integration as well as Natural Language Processing (NLP). During the kickoff meeting, the organizational and project structure and the concretization of the collaboration and external communication were discussed, among other things.
